The initiative of the National Party deputy, Pedro Jisdonian, was approved unanimously and now goes to the Senate
With a special memory for the motorist Gonzalo “Gonchi” Rodríguez, the Chamber of Deputies unanimously approved this Wednesday the project of a unique article that declares September 11 of each year as National Day of Sports Motoring.
The initiative was presented by the representative of the National Party, Pedro Jisdonian, and supported by all the political parties. He will now go to the Senate.
“September 11 of each year is declared as National Sports Motoring Day,” says the bill.
The date was not chosen at random but rather evokes the tragic day in which the young driver lost his life during qualifying tests at the Laguna Seca circuit, United States, on September 11, 1999.
