Officials of the Bolivarian National Police detained three members of the El Cáncer criminal gang in El Valle, Caracas and seized a batch of war material, the security body reported on its networks.
The procedure was carried out in the El 70 neighborhood of the aforementioned parish in Caracas.
The uniformed officers seized three firearms: a 7.65-mm caliber pistol, a .38 revolver, and a 16-gauge shotgun.
In addition, the agents seized a Stum grenade, 47 ammunition calibers .38, 16 and for 7.62 mm rifles.
The detainees are: Anthony Rodríguez, Yeiker Castro Pulido and the leader of the gang Arístides Marrero (El Cáncer), a group dedicated to extortion and drug sales, among others.
