At the top, the town of José Ignacio, in the department of Maldonado, has a cost of US$ 4,500 per m2 and is the place with the highest m2 in Uruguay. Mansa Beach in Punta del Este (US$ 3,307) and the Montevidean neighborhoods Diving Port (US$3,227) and North Carrasco ($3,127) closed out the top 10.
