Minister Tejada: “With the disaster drills the capacities of our rescue teams will be strengthened”

The Minister of Government, Roger Tejada, reiterated that the disaster exercises are simulated to test our rescue mechanisms, it is not a real situation, but a practical exercise, it will also be a normal day of work and classes. No one has to evacuate their homes. Evacuations will take place only in previously selected and trained schools, institutions and companies.

Tejada pointed out that everything is ready for the start from today, Tuesday, June 13, of the III Regional Simulation of Disaster Response and Humanitarian Assistance that will run until June 16 with the participation of more than a dozen invited countries, observers, and brigades.
