The Santa Cruz Bar Association will object to the dismissal resolution made known by the prosecution from this city. The vice president of the collegiate body, Félix Oros Rivero, hopes that they can reverse that decision because the complaint was clear.
“The complaint filed by Félix Enrique Oros Rivero is dismissed against Carlos Eduardo Del Castillo del Carpio and Édgar Montaño Rojas for the alleged commission of the crimes of concealment and omission of complaint for being the atypical act denounced”, indicates the final part of the document that the Prosecutor’s Office delivered this Monday morning.
On June 9, the vice president of the Bar Association filed a complaint against the two authorities and the prosecutors resolved rejection in less than three days, including Saturday and Sunday. For the Prosecutor’s Office, the complaint is “atypical” because, supposedly, it does not meet the requirements regarding knowledge of the facts surrounding the trip of 478 kilos of cocaine aboard a Boliviana de Aviación (BoA) aircraft.
The plaintiff lawyers consider that the ruling is wrong because it was known through press reports and the same authorities in Spain that the plane was loaded with 478 kilos of cocaine was known to the Bolivian authorities in Februaryas established in a Civil Guard report, therefore, it falls within the commission of the two crimes.
Oros explained that they they have five days to file their objection to this decision and will deliver their arguments before that term expires. The main proof of this accusation is the Spanish report on the operation carried out in February and the request to the Bolivian authorities.
