Chilean satellite will be launched into space this Monday, June 12: what time will it take off?

This Monday, June 12, will mark an important milestone for Chile with the launch into space of the satelite Chilean FASat-Delta. This event will take place from the United States Vandenberg Space Force Base in Los Angeles, California, aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket. The satellite is part of the Chilean National Satellite System and is the result of collaboration between the Federico Santa María Technical University and other institutions.

The launch of the FASat-Delta Its main objective is to develop the strategic capacity for access to outer space and the creation of national laboratories for technological services. This project seeks to strengthen the country’s capacity in terms of space technology and make available tools that allow scientific and technological development.
