FANB neutralizes hostile aircraft in Rómulo Gallegos de Apure municipality

The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) neutralized a aircraft hostile in the Rómulo Gallegos municipality of Apure state, presumably used for drug trafficking activities, reported the head of the FANB Strategic Operational Command (Ceofanb), Domingo Hernández Lárez.

It specified that the hostile aircraft lacked a flight plan, was not identified, had its transponder disconnected, and was not authorized by the air traffic services units to operate in that area of ​​Apure state.

“In accordance with the Control Law for the Comprehensive Defense of the Airspace and its regulations, and in response to the entry of a target of hostile interest, #FANB neutralizes the aircraft by means of the “Immobilization” action at the coordinates 06° 30′ 28.9” N / 69° 24′ 03.90” W in the Rómulo Gallegos municipality, Apure state, for lacking a flight plan, not being identified , having the transponder disconnected, not having been authorized by the air traffic services units to operate in that area and presuming that it was being used by groups that generate violence in the State border security zone for the cross-border crime of drug trafficking, transfer of irregular elements and weapons”, published the Chief of the Ceofanb on Twitter.

Faced with the incursion into Venezuelan territory of the hostile aircraft detected by the FANB, the Chief of the Ceofanb ratified that the Venezuelan geographical space is a zone of peace and the entry of irregular ships that violate the legal system will not be allowed.

He stated that the FANB will not allow the Venezuelan sky and soil to be used as a “drug trafficking platform.”

“The national territory may never be ceded, transferred, leased, or in any way alienated, even temporarily or partially, to foreign States or other subjects of international law, much less to transcriminal groups of international terrorism.
