She died at the UCV candidate for the Council of the School of Education due to a heart attack

According to Norhemma Acevedo’s LinkedIn profile, she worked as a professor in the Department of Computer Science and Education, as well as being the coordinator of the UCV Teacher Training program.


On the closing of electoral day to define the new authorities of the Central University of Venezuela (UCV), Professor Norhemma Acevedo, candidate for the Council of the School of Education, died of a heart attack.

The death was confirmed by the president of the Electoral Commission, Carlos Marín, who regretted the event by guaranteeing that it was the only incident that occurred on the day.

“The only incident, which we have just confirmed, is that unfortunately a teacher died of a heart attack at the Faculty of Humanities,” he commented.

According to the reporter of The NationalEstéfani Brito, Acevedo was transferred to the University Clinical Hospital, but arrived without vital signs.

According to Acevedo’s LinkedIn profile, she worked as a professor in the Department of Information Technology and Education, in addition to being the coordinator of the university’s Teacher Training program.

She graduated from UCV itself with a degree in Education, mention Technology and later obtained a master’s degree in Information and Communication Technology.
