The first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), God given hair; He urged this Thursday to preserve the unity of the people, reminding the opposition of the leadership and mobilization of the people in the streets.
“We must remain united and remind the opposition and the country that sells them out that the streets do not belong to them. The streets belong to the people, to the organized, revolutionary, patriotic people, of those of us who are willing to take to the streets to defend this homeland from whoever it is, against whoever it is and at any time”, he asserted.
In the same way, he indicated that with the arrival of Commander Hugo Chávez to power, the way of doing politics changed.
“Chávez made everyone change our way of doing politics, that’s why we feel proud to be Chávez’s children, and when we fight for Chávez, we fight for this people,” Cabello said during the mobilization of the revolutionary force in support of the policies promoted by the National Executive to deal with the blockade.
In statements broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión, the socialist leader stressed that the revolutionary forces will remain mobilized touring the streets of Venezuela, to listen to the people.
“We must come to listen to the people. We have instructed the PSUV leadership that we must go to every corner to listen to our people to find a solution because maybe, ”he said.
On the other hand, he urged security officials to defend the people and not repeat the massacre of February 27 and 28, 1989.
“We went through the police module and I reminded them ‘always together with the people, never against the people,’ because here they used the police forces to run over the people, that is why on February 27-28 there was a massacre,” he pointed out.
Recovery of spaces in Caracas
On the other hand, he referred to the recovery work that has to be done in the capital city by the authorities.
In this sense, he stated that both the mayoress of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, and the head of Government of the Capital District, Nahum Fernández; They will visit each community to meet the needs of the people.
In the mobilization, Meléndez indicated that work will be done to beautify the areas visited this Thursday, following the instructions of the National Executive.
