A total of 39 officials of the National Risk Management System received the Order for Peace this Saturday, for their outstanding work in the search, rescue, rescue and pre-hospital care days.
These actions were undertaken in different missions, especially in the earthquake registered last February, which affected Turkey and Syria.
The award was presented by the Minister for Interior Relations, Justice and Peace, Remigio Ceballos and the Minister for Ecosocialism, Josue Lorca.
The activity is part of the act on the occasion of the XVIII Anniversary of the Humanitarian Task Force G/J Simón Bolívar, which takes place in La Carlota in Caracas.
“We are all responsible, it is an instrument for our president Nicolás Maduro to bring help to the people to give them peace of mind. We prepare ourselves in the scientific, technical, that they are evaluating by making the risk maps, ”he stressed in statements broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión.
During the act, Minister Ceballos delivered different equipment to the National Risk Management System, in order to attend to the States affected by the rains that are registered in the country.
This Friday, the also Sector Vice President for Citizen Security specified that the fourth Tropical Wave will enter the national territory and it is expected that this Saturday it will pass to the east of the country.
For this reason, he stressed the importance of the National Center for Control and Coordination in Emergencies and Disasters, where monitoring is carried out throughout the country to see the areas affected by rain.
