The sixth edition of the Hip Hop Festival began this Friday in Santiago de Cuba, dedicated mainly to the genre as an industry.
This time the meeting will generate debates among artists on “how to turn their work into a marketable product,” says the Cuban News Agency.
The Festival program includes the conferences “Rap, reggae and something else in today’s urban music” and “How to mediate conscious rap”.
In addition, there will be a freestyle tournament and concerts.

The Hip Hop Festival emerged in 2016 as remake of the old Bonus Track festival and since then he has shifted his focus from the figure of the Disc Jockey to the urban creation of the rapper on stage.
This VI edition of the “Palabras” Hip Hop Festival will close on Sunday, June 4.
