Ten Colombians who remained in Panamanian territory were returned to their country of origin by the National Immigration Service, eight of them deported and two expelled for representing a danger to collective security.
The transfer was made from the Panama Pacifico Airport on a National Aeronaval Service (Senan) flight, which departed early in the morning under strict security measures, due to the presence of nine men and one woman who committed an intentional crime, specifically against collective security in the form of drug trafficking and distribution, for which they were charged and sentenced in Panama, but upon serving their sentence, they must be sent to their country.
It is the fourth transfer of this group of Colombians that occurs with the support of Senan.
