Officials of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigation Corps (Cicpc), attached to the Trujillo Municipal Delegation, clarified the atrocious homicide of the 6-year-old boy Yojaiker Antonio Valera Zapata, after arresting his stepfather as the perpetrator and his mother, as cooperative, as reported on Instagram by the director of the police force, Douglas Rico.
After the body of little Yojaiker Antonio was admitted to the Monay hospital, located in the La Paz parish, Pampán municipality, Trujillo state, an exhaustive and dedicated investigation work began to determine the cause of death.
In the analyzes it was possible to detect that the victim had died of a fatal wound caused by a knife.
As the investigations progressed, it was possible to conclude that the wound that blinded the life of little Yojaiker Antonio Valera Zapata was caused by his stepfather, identified as Luis Enrique Rodríguez Díaz (28), who after having a discussion with Yosimar del Carmen Valero Zapata ( 24), the child’s mother, motivated by an alleged infidelity, took Yojaiker hostage, as pressure for her to confess the betrayal of love; however, noticing that the woman did not speak, she proceeded to injure the child in the neck region, leaving him badly injured on the spot.
Luis and Yosimar, upon seeing what had happened, proceeded to locate a cell phone battery, threw it into a stove they had to cause an explosion and thus report that the child had died as a result of said explosion, but the detectives, with the technical analysis – Scientists managed to determine that at the time of the outbreak, the child was already in agony.
Once these elements were revealed, the couple was arrested and placed at the order of the Ninth Prosecutor of the Public Ministry.
