The gang Los Chancleta, dedicated to the distribution of narcotic and psychotropic substances, in the Mata Redonda sector in Caña de Azúcar, in the state of Aragua, was dismantled, Commissioner Douglas Rico reported on his Instagram account.
Officials from the Municipal Delegation of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (Cicpc) managed to arrest Jonathan José Genez Herrera (27), Jonander Alexander Caro Díaz (19) and Omar David Dacchille Castillo (18), who were engaged in micro-trafficking of drugs in public spaces, for which reason they encouraged young people to consume these substances, with the purpose of obtaining personal benefit through their sale.
The Cicpc investigators who carried out the procedure managed to seize from the detainees two regular-size containers with remains and vegetable seeds of the alleged drug called marijuana, which remained as evidence of the case, according to the director of the police force on his instagram account.
The traffickers were placed under the order of the 19th Prosecutor’s Office of the Public Ministry of the Judicial District of Aragua state, so that the necessary legal proceedings can be carried out.
To deepen the fight against crime, the Cicpc appointed new directors in the delegations of Caña de Azúcar, Cagua, La Victoria and Villa de Cura in the state of Aragua.
Now these municipal delegations will be led by chief commissioners Jhonnathan Apostol, Simón Prato, Braulio Gómez and Edgar Hernández.
