ABC reports loss of the platform on the route to the Santa Cruz Valleys and recommends caution to drivers

The last rains registered in the department of Santa Cruz left ‘scars’ on the Fundamental Road Network (RVF)whose maintenance and conservation depend on the Bolivian Highway Administrator (ABC).

The state company’s report reveals that vehicular circulation and passability on the Santa Cruz-La Angostura-Mataral-Comarapa highway, Mandarinas sector km 74, is limited to a single lane due to the loss of the platform.

The event, according to the report, dates from a week ago and that the construction companies hired by the ABC for the ‘Plan Lluvias’ face protection works to stabilize the platform and restore circulation in both directions. For now the traffic is controlled.

Likewise, the ABC also recommends traveling with great caution in the Bermejo-Comarapa section where there are brigades that face road rehabilitation works. In addition to enjoin extreme prudencethe ABC recommends that road users respect the signs and circulate at the permitted speeds to avoid accidents.

The state of the routes in the eastern zone and Chiquitania and southern zone and Chaco, according to the ABC, is passable and refers to expedited routes. While, in the north, on the Santa Cruz-Puente Ichilo highway, passable roads with a detour at the San Miguelito bridge (La Arboleda sector) are reported. which is currently under construction.

Similarly, a diversion was reported at the El Chore Bridge (Yapacaní) due to protection works on the bridge abutments. “The rest of the section travel with caution due to rain and wet platform,” they say from ABC.
