The Boston Celtics scored 38 points in the third quarter to take a lead they would not lose again in the game to avoid the sweep and beat the Miami Heat 116-99.
With the need to win in order not to be eliminated, the Celtics had their best offensive man in Jayson Tatum with 34 points and 11 rebounds, while Jaylen Brown and Derrick White added 16 units each.
Game 5 will be played Thursday in Boston where the Heat will have a chance to end the series, while the Celtics will try to force a Game 6.
The series is in favor of Miami 3-1 and the Celtics fight against the history and statistics that say that no team has been able to come back from a series being down 0-3 in the history of the NBA.
