The Bolivarian National Armed Force (FANB)developed operational actions in the Guyana Integral Defense Strategic Regionwhere they carried out reconnaissance flights, river and land patrols, as part of the actions of the Bolivarian Government to expel terrorists dedicated to drug trafficking, smuggling, human trafficking and illegal mining.
The Operational Strategic Commander of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (ceofanb) G/J Domnigo Antonio Hernández Lárezreported that during this deployment, 12 illegal mining devices such as engines, plants, hoses, snails, fuels, among other instruments that affect the environment, were located.
In this sense, he stated that “The FANB will not stop until it fully fulfills the entrusted task of dismantling the territory of illegal mining camps, and reforesting the spaces devastated by unscrupulous invaders who do not respect territorial ordering or national laws.” .
These tasks were carried out in compliance with the instructions of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduroto protect national parks, forests and forest reserves, through these security and defense missions.
