The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, denounced on Monday that the Venezuelan opposition received a total of 346 million dollars from the government of USA to finance the primary elections of the right ahead of the presidential elections.
“The alleged Dinorah Figuerapolitical leader of Primero Justicia received 346 million dollars from a bank account that belongs to the people to finance the right-wing primaries and the presidential candidacies,” denounced the head of state during the broadcast of his program Con Maduro +.
Figuera, who is in exile in Spain, was appointed by the TSJ in exile as “interim president” of Venezuela.
The national president criticized that the members of the Primero Justicia party “pretend to be a political group within the country.”
In this sense, he rejected that the opposition leaders seek to deprive Venezuelans of the resources that are withheld abroad.
“4,000 million dollars, corresponding to Citgo’s annual profits (2019-2022), have been usurped from the Venezuelan people,” said President Maduro.
He added that “the kidnapping of Citgo has meant gigantic damage to the Venezuelan population.”
“We obtained 900 million dollars a month for education, health, housing, salary for the social rights of the people, we always resorted to Citgo in addition to reinforce imported gasoline,” argued the head of state.
protection law
Maduro signed on Monday the promulgation of the Law for the Protection of Assets, Rights and Interests of the Republic and its Entities Abroad. “We have a new legal and constitutional instrument to protect all the patrimony that belongs to all Venezuelans and all Venezuelans. Comply with it!” said the National President.
The new statute will make it possible to respond with legal and constitutional force to attempts to steal the assets of the Republic.
On the other hand, President Maduro highlighted the progress in education. “64% of the places (215,600) have to do with prioritized races. It is a great advance that we have had”, stressed the head of state during the launch of the new National Income System (SNI) for the next high school graduates in the country.
The Minister for University Education, Sandra Oblitas, explained that through the SNI, places will be guaranteed to 334,000 high school graduates who will graduate in the month of July.
In this sense, Maduro said that the economic Engines “are going to mark the development of the country”, so the races must be oriented towards that objective. He explained that among the prioritized careers are: health sciences, education, engineering, computing and information technology.
Through the link https://sni.opsu.gob.ve, young high school graduates will be able to enter the National Entry System and opt for careers, they will also have access to the book of study opportunities.
