More than 196,000 people from the National District and the Duarte, Santiago and Barahona provinces, where the Citizen Security Plan is being developed, benefited from low-cost food sales through Inespre’s mobile warehouses.
The wineries sold a great quantity and variety of fresh and low-cost products in the Cristo Rey, La Zurza, La Puya and Ensanche La Fe sectors of the National District; in the municipalities of San Francisco de Macorís, Pimentel and Las Guáranas, Duarte province; as well as in numerous sectors in Santiago and Barahona, impacting 49,050 families and 196,560 residents in vulnerable areas.
This information was offered by the executive director of Inespre, Iván Hernández Guzmán, after depositing a flower at the Altar of the Fatherland on the occasion of the month of the Fatherland.
