Juan Guaido, Former president of the National Assembly (AN) in 2015 and who was head of the interim, asserted that on October 22 when the primaries are held, the opposition will be one against the ruler Nicolás Maduro.
“This week we continue to show that Venezuelans continue to resist, while the dictatorship can only persecute. Each leader, each political party accompanies the most important thing we have: the majority of Venezuelans fighting. On October 22 we will all be ONE and we will defeat the regime with the best candidate: Unity,” he pointed out this Sunday, May 21, from his Twitter account.
The statement by Guaidó, who has been in exile in the United States since the end of April, was accompanied by campaign images of the pre-candidates superlane freddy (Popular will); Carlos Prosperi (AD in resistance); María Corina Machado (Vente Venezuela) and Delsa Solórzano (Citizen Meeting).

Superlano replaced Guaidó in the presidential candidacy after the former head of the interim government left the country.
A week ago, Juan Guaidó announced that he will travel to Europe to “join efforts” before the international community and prevent Maduro from reaching power again in the presidential elections. He asked the international community to avoid normalizing relations with the Government of Venezuela, to maintain the “pressure” through all possible fighting mechanisms to achieve the elusive goal of free elections.
