A tanker truck loaded with diesel fuel overturned this Saturday in Loma de la Gloria, in the province of Holguín, without causing human damage, official media reported.
The accident vehicle belongs to the Holguin headquarters of the Transcupet Company. He was quickly assisted by the fire brigade and specialists from the Cuba Petróleo Union (Cupet), publishes the site Matanzas News.
At the accident site, work was carried out to recover part of the fuel, but so far the amount spilled is unknown. In addition, a contingency plan was activated to guarantee the safety of the population and minimize any negative impact on the environment.

Cuba closed 2022 with 9,848 accidents reported on roads throughout the island, statistics that grew compared to the previous year, according to the National Road Safety Commission (CNSV).
