Manchester City celebrated this Sunday the conquest of its ninth Premier League with a comfortable victory against Chelsea, and with the possibility of reserving players for the rest of the season, wearing a banq.
Pep Guardiola, after his master class against Real Madrid, left on the bench players like Erling Haaland, Kevin de Bruyne, Ilkay Gundogan, Rodrigo Hernández, Bernardo Silva, Rubén Dias and Ederson Moraesa total of 500 million of which the Spanish coach he did without and that he did not need to break a Chelsea gone for many days.

A goal by Julián Álvarez in the first minutes was enough to satisfy the local fans, in what was practically a walk, a tribute game to the champions in which Chelsea was missing.

Even so, City came around the second goal a couple of times, with a shot off the post from Phillips, starting for the first time this season, and a goal disallowed by Álvarez due to a handball from Riyad Mahrez in the construction of the play.
City have two more Premier League games left, this Wednesday against Brighton and next Sunday against Brentford. Now with nothing at stake, Guardiola will use these meetings as test bench for the final of the FA Cup (June 3) and the Champions League (June 10), the real challenges that remain for City this season.
