The police officers of the 91st police station went to the house where the events occurred after a call to the 911 System.

The deceased were identified as Fredys Schlender Rolón, 51, and his ex-partner María Angela Ramona Cantero, 23 years old. She had a bullet wound made with the same weapon with an entry hole at the height of her left ear, whose bullet also lodged in her head.
Neighbors told police officers that Fredys arrived at the home of María Angelahe called her to go outside and there he committed the crime and, later, he decided to commit suicide in the same way.
The data obtained so far indicate that both they had a romantic relationship in the past, due to conflicts they would have separated and the young woman allegedly started another relationship.
Time after, María made contact with Fredys again, re-starting the stage of reconciliation in the couple.
In this sense, the National Police is investigating the possibility that the man has made the decision to shoot his companion and then take his own life, since there are several elements in the investigation that revolve around this theory.

It is also presumed that Fredys called his daughter telling her supposedly that he was hurt minutes before killing himself, taking into account the position they found the rifle and that the wounds found on both bodies were made with the same weapon.
The case was communicated to the Public Ministry for rigorous procedures.
