The judicial process against the young activist took place 46 days after he was detained “unfairly and arbitrarily.” “We receive this notification with great concern since to this day we do not know the real state in which he is, he has been denied visits to his relatives and we fear for the torture conditions to which he is exposed,” said the MU19A. .
The youth organization alerted the national and international community and human rights organizations about these judicial processes that it described as “arbitrary where no constitutional guarantee for political prisoners is respected.”
“We urge all Nicaraguans who fight for democracy in Nicaragua to demonstrate in support of the families that are being harassed and for fear of reprisals suffer this ordeal in silence,” he said.
