During the ordinary session in the Hemicycle of the Sessions Hall of the Legislative Council of the Bolívar State (CLEB), the Chamber Agreement in which they support the Law for the Protection of Venezuelan Assets Abroad was approved by majority.
The agreement was presented by parliamentarian Lisbenio Muñóz, who serves as president of the Commission for the Economy, Finance, Planning, Comptrollership and Public Services and emphatically informed that since 2014, the country has been subject to unilateral coercive measures with the purpose of force the nation to renounce the exercise of its sovereign rights over its patrimony.
Muñoz also commented that “to this date Venezuela has been dispossessed and immobilized to access important assets abroad, such as the illegal decision of the United States (USA), under arbitrary license No. 42 to auction off the shares of Citgo Petroleum; in turn authorizing usurpers to negotiate, bringing harmful consequences for the population,” he said.
With the approval in the National Assembly of the Law for the Protection of the Assets, Rights and Interests of the Republic and its Entities Abroad, in the opinion of the Legislator, Venezuelans currently have in their possession the mechanism to defend entrenched resources abroad.

On the other hand, the unanimous approval of resources to continue the management work of the Regional Executive in Bolívar state was also on the agenda. Likewise, the report of the first discussion of the Special Law Project for the Comprehensive Care of the Elderly in the state was presented, as reported by Yusleiby Ramírez, vice president of the CLEB, and president of the Commission for Social, Comprehensive Development and Citizen Participation. .
