Seven merchants were arrested for allegedly adulterating the prices of food intended for animal consumption.
The information was provided by the Bolivarian National Police (PNB), whose officials went to the Main Marketer, El Tamarindo sector, Alberto Adriani municipality (El Vigía), Mérida state.
The detainees are: Ronny Humberto Hernández Manjares (27), George Klinsenan González Martínez (26), Jeison José Eran Lobo (20), Jorge Luis Contreras Castillo (18), Jackson Enrique Chacín Labrador (23), Cesar Iván Ibáñez Duarte (18 ) and Angel Jair Mosquera Mosquera (20).
These people were dedicated to altering the weight of packages of food for animal consumption, to then re-label in the original way.
The seven were handed over to the Public Ministry to be prosecuted for crimes contemplated in the Law of Fair Prices and the Penal Code.
