Since the President-elect, Gabriel Boricappointed Alexandra Benado as the future Minister of Sports, complaints against her have not stopped coming to light.
The first accusation was made by some workers from Londres 38, who pointed out that Benado exercised labor mistreatment against them.

During this week, a new precedent was revealed that involves the future Minister of Sports. Specifically, it is a situation of irregular overtime while she worked for the Municipality of Providencia, money that the Comptroller required her to return.
In interview with ThirdBenado indicated that “the situation and the complaints on social networks have been resolved. London 38 released a statement clarifying it, which I share, and I have received many expressions of support for my appointment, so for me it is a closed issue.”
“Many times labor relations are not simple, many times they are complex, and in this context I imagine that perceptions are different. In that sense, I cannot take charge of situations that in my opinion did not correspond,” he added.
When asked about the irregular situation in Providencia, the future minister maintained that “it was an administrative error. I corrected it immediately once I realized that I had committed it. The situation in particular actually happened in 2014, it had been several months working for a fee in the Municipality of Providencia and I went to contract. And as a result of that change, I was not entitled to have vacations”.
“I went on vacation without knowing about this situation and when I came back I was told that I had to sign that attendance book, which was what we usually did to receive monthly payments. After a while I was told that I couldn’t take those vacations and I, immediately and voluntarily, what I did was return all the money corresponding to those three weeks of vacations that I took,” he added.
Finally, in the face of all the questions against him, he assured that “the cabinet of the elected President was aware of these situations.”
