After his ‘workday’, Candelillo travels through 3 neighborhoods to order bread at a bakery in the south of Ibagué, but it is not the only business he visits.
Colombia News.
Given his tour of three neighborhoods, people alerted the authorities and animal rights activists, but when they came to see what was happening, they discovered that Candelillo is a fanatical horse for bread and for asking for food.
Not because he is hungry, and it is that they visited his house, they did tests and confirmed that he is in a very good state of health.
They indicated that he does not suffer abuse and that his human takes good care of him.
He is a hardworking horse, loads sand.
And although his story has generated some comments of rejection because they put him to carry sand, there have been many messages of love for the animal.
looking for bread
Candelillo has been traveling for quite some time, three neighborhoods in Ibagué looking for, bread, yes, he already has a chosen bakery and there they already know that he likes it.
Despite not having an exact arrival time if it is when you have already finished your ‘work day’.
They think his nose guides him to the bakery.
There consent workers and customers.
Its owner, Luis Fernando Carvajal, found out about the animal’s adventures through some neighbors, and decided to follow it.
“When I saw it, the horse was eating bread there and the children give it, they give it everyone, the truth is that I was amazed to see how my animal eats bread,” said Luis Carvajal.

The main concern is that at some point the bread may affect him because it is not suitable food for him.
That is why the Director of the local veterinary hospital, Diego Echeverry, gave peace of mind by expressing that as long as the horse is not given too much, it can be healthy.
In that case, Candelillo will continue looking for his daily bread as long as there is someone to give him.
Because he has “his honey and salvao”, but he goes and indulges “his tastes” outside the home.
And not only that, “he goes to the butcher shop that is further down, for cob leaves, and green bananas, which they give him there, he is very polite,” say those who know him.
It is that in fact, he began to order in a store where the owner one day gave him a loaf of bread and since then, he has stayed with the custom.
