With the attention of 1,207 users and the verification of 1,692 documents capable of being apostilled, the Special Apostille Operation concluded, enabled for five days (from May 8 to 12) by the Ministry of Popular Power for Foreign Relations at the General Consulate of Venezuela in Madrid, Kingdom of Spain.
When offering a balance of the day, the general director of the Office of Consular Relations of the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry, Yoimara Mélendez, affirmed that the expectations programmed for this first prioritized attention operation were exceeded, in which 1,486 apostilles were also generated and They facilitated other procedures, such as user resets and data modifications in the Electronic Legalization and Apostille System (SLAE).
announced that The next Conference on Prioritized Attention will take place at the General Consulate of Venezuela in Barcelonafrom May 15 to May 19, for which he invited Venezuelans residing in this Spanish city and surrounding areas, who require apostille procedures, to come to the consular office at 9:00 a.m. from the morning to 4:00 in the afternoon.

During the operation in Madrid, Venezuelan diplomatic officials accredited to Belgium, France, Italy, Norway, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Switzerland received the necessary training to implement the SLAE in these European countries.
Mélendez noted that after finishing in Barcelona they will work on the schedules of the next days of apostille attention, planned to benefit compatriots residing in Brazil, Colombia and Portugal.
