Bolivia reports 1,783 new positive cases and 20 deaths from Covid-19

Bolivia continues with more than a thousand positive cases of Covid-19 per day. This Wednesday the Ministry of Health and Sports reported 1,783 new infecteds and 20 deaths. Santa Cruz, as throughout the pandemic, is the most affected region. On this day there were 500 people who tested positive for coronavirus.

According to the report, the new infections in addition to Santa Cruz are also in Cochabamba with 378, followed by La Paz (488), Chuquisaca (77), Tarija (107), Potosí (92), Oruro (39), Beni (79) and Pando (23).

The positive data is the number of people recovered. This Wednesday 3,937 patients were discharged. The fatality rate so far reaches 0.6%.

The registry of recovered patients by department is as follows: 339 in Santa Cruz, 578 in Cochabamba, 276 in La Paz, 1,190 in Chuquisaca, 1,203 in Tarija, 238 in Potosí, 88 in Oruro, 0 in Beni and 25 in Pando.

As for mass vaccination, this State portfolio reported that during This day 37,982 doses were applied throughout the national territory. Immunizers from Sputnik V, AstraZeneca, Sinopharm, Pfizer and Janssen are supplied in the country.
