A total of 499 drug packages, 25 seized firearms and 196 people apprehended for various crimes are the result of “Operation Genesis 2022”, by the national security forces, in the last 24 hours.
Of these arrests, 81 are by trade, 34 for microtrafficking, 09 for drug trafficking, 58 for administrative offenses and 14 for flagrancy.
The arrests occurred at different points throughout the country.
A total of 58 raids were carried out, also achieving the seizure of 3,473 ammunition, 30 packages with drugs and illicit substances, B/.3,668.10, 03 recovered vehicles.
Also, 23 foreigners were detected who did not meet the immigration requirements, who were placed under the orders of the corresponding authorities.
Additionally, 4 medical evacuations were carried out in the provinces of Coclé and Chiriquí.
Likewise, 1,771 tickets were placed for various violations of the Traffic Regulations, of these 599 were for speeding, 11 for proven drunkenness, 18 for talking on a cell phone, 07 for alcoholic breath and 132 for inadequate lights.
With “Operation Genesis 2022”, security strategies are strengthened with a view to guaranteeing peaceful coexistence throughout the national territory.
