The Cuban singer-songwriter Carlos Varela will be in concert this May 25, at 8:45 pm, at the Lula Club in Madrid.
The official page of the Madrid site expanded that “Carlos Valera, one of the most prominent singer-songwriters of the Cuban Nueva Trova, presents his work ‘El grito Mudo’, which he recorded to denounce youth harassment, as well as some of his new compositions. The musician has maintained a reference work within the Cuban song, with which he has addressed in a critical, but at the same time poetic way, the conflicts that are experienced in his country. The singer-songwriter is known as one of the most contentious and controversial artists of his generation.
