With its 27th title in its history in the Spanish League, Barcelona’s goal is to bring its most emblematic player in its history, Leo Messi, back to the team.
Joan Laporta, President of Barcelona in an interview offered to the Spanish media said that the club is able to compete with Saudi Arabia and any other club to take over the services of the captain of the Argentine team.
Messi’s contract with PSG expires on June 30 and he has an offer from the Saudi first division club Al-Hilal and Major League Soccer (MLS) has shown interest in the forward being in their league, while Barcelona, more than offering large amounts of money, expects the Argentine to return to finish his career at the club that saw him grow as a professional.
It is expected that Messi will soon confirm what his next destination will be to, most likely, finish his sports career.
