The information was released by the head of the FANB Strategic Operational Command (Ceofanb), Domingo Hernández Lárez, who through Twitter detailed the material found by the military in the dismantled supply point.
He stressed that after river search operations the troops found: Two (02) black packages with a possible narcotic substance (cocaine), as well as weapons, ammunition, tactical uniforms, different equipment and supplies.
“In the Laguneta sector, Catatumbo municipality of Zulia state, near the Santa Ana River, within the framework of Operation Catatumbo Lightning, during patrolling and fluvial scrutiny, #FANB troops found a logistics supply point belonging to groups linked to drug trafficking, seizing the following material: – Two (02) black wrappers with possible narcotic substance (cocaine) – One (01) Shotgun-type Firearm, 16 mm caliber – One (01) Rifle-type Firearm, Flower model – Four (04) Masks – Two (02) Mountain Passes – One (01) pair of Rubber Boots – One (01) pair of Pixelated Boots – Two (02) Camouflaged Caps – Two (02) Shotgun Cartridge Holders – Three (03) High-end Phone Boxes. – One (01) Camouflaged Uniform – One (01) Black Uniform – Six (06) Propellers – Two (02) Speed Levers for boats with rudder – One (01) Drill – Part of a Forty (40) Hp engine – One (01) 12-volt power source – Ten (10) makeshift hammocks – Twelve (12) Boxes of beer – Fifty-four (54) kilos of non-perishable food”, published the Chief of Ceofanb.
FANB continues to disable clandestine airstrips
Similarly, the head of the Ceofanb, Domingo Hernández Lárez, specified that the FANB’s Rapid Reaction Units (URRA) remain deployed to the south of the Lake, to carry out the destruction of tracks clandestine linked to drug trafficking groups.
“Immediate reaction units of the #FANB deployed in the southern territory of the Lake, disabling clandestine tracks organized and used by drug trafficking,” he said on the social network.

On the other hand, the Chief of the Ceofanb reiterated that the troops of the FANB remain in continuous deployment to carry out environmental protection missions in Amazonas and other states of the country.
“#FANB deployed in Amazonas state on environmental protection missions,” he added on Twitter.
“The FANB remains deployed in the border axes, guaranteeing national sovereignty,” Hernández Lárez stressed on the social network.
