Spanish artist Enrique Iglesias reported that he suffers from pneumonia and due to this infection, he was even forced to cancel a performance in Mexico.
“I have pneumonia and the doctors have advised me to rest completely and forbidden to get on the plane ”, announced the 48-year-old artist in a statement published on his social networks.
According to local media reports, the son of Julio Iglesias had to appear on Saturday at the Tecate Emblema music festival in Mexico City.
“I am frankly saddened by what the cancellation of this show means in a country that has given me so much,” added Iglesias.
However, the interpreter of multiple hits, such as “Si tú te vas”, “Héroe” or “El Perdedor”, hopes to recover quickly and sing again for his fans.
“I apologize a thousand times and I send a big hug to all my fans,” he concluded.
