The Palacio de Festivales de Cantabria will host next Friday, May 19, the performance of the Cuban National Ballet (BNC)international media review.
The prestigious company, under the direction of Viengsay Valdés, will offer a mixed program made up of choreographies by Ricardo Amarantes, Ben Stevenson or Alexei Ratmansky, according to an agency report EFE.
According to the Spanish media, the performance will begin at 7:30 PM in the Argenta room and will take place in two parts of 50 and 40 minutes, respectively.
The presentation of the BNC is part of the current tour that the company is carrying out in Spain, which will last until May 25 and will have performances in 14 cities in the European country.
Before the performance of the Cuban group, there will be a new appointment of the “Intimate Wednesdays” cycle that, on this occasion, comes to the Pereda room in the form of the premiere of “Anonymous” by Hilo Producciones, with which the company intends to bring the great playwrights and literary authors to today’s public.
According to the Palacio de Festivales in a press release cited by EFEit is a new version of the classic “Lazarillo de Tormes”, in which Lázaro embarks on a journey through a Spain in which criminals succeed and the honest fail, and in which the decent are mocked and the scoundrel, applause and admiration.
The programming scheduled for next week is completed with the last proposal of the current season of the cycle for family audiences «El Palacio con los niños’», specifically, with the Ultramarino de Lucas company that will represent in the Pereda room «When does Samuel come ?», which won the award for Best Show FETEN 2022.
