Venezuelan soldiers found weapons manufactured in Colombia

During the last days, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) of Venezuela has developed a series of operations on the border with Colombia in search of guerrilla camps and illegal activities that result in fighting that affects the population.

Among the operations, one stood out in the state of Apure, given that in an illegal camp They found more than 5,000 bars of Colombian military-made explosivesframed with the logo and the name of indumil, the entity in charge of manufacture weapons for the Colombian military forces by the government.

The strategic operational commander of the FANB, Domingo Hernándezassured that this illegal camp had been built by a Colombian drug-trafficking armed terrorist groupalso known as “Tancol”.

“We have deactivated explosives from Colombian military industries placed on trees, roads, and under bridges, used by the Tancols to terrorize the Venezuelan people in our own territory and use it as a route for drug traffickingHernandez concluded.

During the operation it was also claimed to have found 6,000 detonators and 900 domestic gas tanks that would be used to create clandestine bombs.
