The former magistrate Rafael Solisresponsible for the indefinite reelection of the dictator Daniel Ortega at a time when he was vice president of the Supreme Court of Justice (CSJ), and believed that Ortega and his wife should be in power forever, was included in the list of lawyers dispossessed to practice as a legal professional.
Some stripped lawyers, according to a resolution of the Judiciary, issued this Thursday, indicated that the regime can disqualify them, but it will not be able to “take away their knowledge.”
“My title can be taken from me, but what I know, no,” reacted the former deputy and political analyst, Elisha Nunezwho is part of the lawyers stripped in this new onslaught of the dictator.

This Thursday, the Judiciary disqualified 25 lawyers for life from practicing the profession, 10 of them are part of the 222 political prisoners exiled to the United States on February 9.
The CSJ, dominated by Sandinista magistrates, granted a period of 24 hours for the disqualified lawyers to deliver the protocol books, lawyer’s license, title and even the stamps issued by that State power.
“Action far from legal reality”

Another of the lawyers who reacted was Maria Oviedo, human rights defender, who said that she will continue to be a lawyer until the end of her days. “They have taken everything from us. I ask God that hate does not reach me, I will not be the same as those who want to destroy me today. Lawyer and Nicaraguan, I will be until the last day of my life. They waste their time,” wrote Dr. Oviedo.
Sandinista lawyers too
Recently, the CSJ also banned Dr. Yonarqui Martinezdefense attorney for political prisoners, who on several occasions denounced threats and harassment by officials of the Judiciary.
To the list of this new dispossession, the dictatorship added characters who once defended it, such as the lawyer Marlon Saenzconfessed paramilitary, known as “Chinoc Enoc” and former spokesman for years of the Supreme Court of Justice, Roberto Larios, in addition to magistrate Solís.
