Santiago González, director of Coexistence and Citizen Security of the Ministry of the Interior, resigned from his position on the afternoon of this Thursday the 11th.
According to a report by journalist Eduardo Preve, González was treated and received medication at the Police Hospital, using his hierarchical position. He first denied it, and then admitted that he had once had a pain treated.
The Police Hospital is for the use of police personnel, and no hierarchical authority can request to be treated in that place.
