Sisalril requests additional funds from the Government to make up for the deficit due to subsidies

The Superintendence of Health and Occupational Risks (Sisalril) requested the Central Government complementary funds to supply the deficit registered in the subsidies for maternity, lactation and common illness.

“We want to inform you that we have formally requested complementary funds to the Central Government for the Subsidies account that supports the cases of subsidies registered in maternity, lactation and common illness”, indicates a publication on the entity’s Instagram this Wednesday.

Sisalril explained that currently the subsidy account shows a deficit of 0.24%, consequence of the increase of two weeks to the maternity subsidy without the corresponding source of financing.

In that sense, he explained that his projections They recommend increasing the collection rate from 0.48% to 0.72% for Family Health Insurance, to meet present and future commitments.

“As of the current month of February, we started operations and corresponding payments with a new system to process subsidies more efficiently, estimating to finish the pending processes of the year 2021 in the month of March of the current year”indicates the publication.

Similarly, Sisalril explained that they have started an evaluation process for the regulation of response to pending requests since 2009.

“We continue to evaluate improvements to our communication channels in order to provide a more timely response to all our users,” he concluded.
