It was alluding to the accusations he made during a television program, in which he stated that Paraguayo Cubas received money in exchange for promoting his candidacy and thus dividing the opposition.
In October 2020, Celeste Amarilla was sanctioned with a 60-day suspension, due to another accusation that she formulated, without having any evidence. On that occasion, he assured that many deputies bought his bank.
At the end of the elections, far from thanking those who voted for her and confirmed her in another parliamentary period, Amarilla repudiated those who elected Cubas.
