Transporters from Santa Cruz staged a March in rejection of vehicle rearrangement proposed by the Mayor of Santa Cruz de la Sierra. This Wednesday they took to the streets and toured the first ring, from the Urban Park, to the municipal building.
Drivers reject the reduction of roads for public transport in the city center, as well as the withdrawal of 40% of the micro lines. In addition, they reiterated their request to remove the cordons from the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) route.

During the march, the carriers expressed their discomfort at the statements of the mayor, Jhonny Fernández, that they only have pots and pans, and observed that the investment they make to acquire and condition their buses, while the price of the ticket is maintained in the same amount for a decade.
Signs of discontent towards the management of Jhonny Fernández could be seen in the march of the demonstrators. They claimed that he had not fulfilled his electoral promise to remove the BRT cordons.
