Septeto Santiaguero announces tour of Europe

For this occasion, presentations are planned on stages in Spain, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Norway, Sweden and Finland, according to Fernando Dewar, director of the group, according to a report of the Cuban News Agency (ACN).

He added that they are working on a new album that constitutes the second part of the tribute to Los Compadres, one of the most important duos in the history of Cuban popular music.

Marcos Campins, director of the Recordings and Musical Editions Company (Egrem) of the eastern Cuban province, said that the most recent album of the Septeto Habanero will be sold exclusively in the café album El Santiago, and soon in USB format.

Founded on February 2, 1995, the Septeto Santiaguero is currently one of the most outstanding exponents of traditional Cuban music, holding two awards Latin Grammysas well as the status of Honorary Member of the Latin Music Institute, highlights the publication.
