MADRID, Spain.- The popular Cuban actors Robert San Martin and Mikhail Mulkay star in the play The creditdirected by Yusnel Suárez and which will be on the billboard every weekend in May at Teatro 8 in Miami.
Based on the script by the Spanish playwright Jordi Garcerán, the staging “with two of the most recognized Cuban actors in Miami, with great comic capacity, will keep you hooked on the plot in a constant laugh,” said Teatro 8 from its social networks.
He also indicated: “A true international success, translated into eight languages and represented in more than thirty countries, comes to Miami under the direction of Yusnel Suárez.”
The play includes special performances by also Cuban Rachel Cruz and Alina Robert.
The credit It is developed from the premise: “What would you do if the bank denied you a loan… go home defeated or destroy the life of the branch manager?”
In interview with The New Herald, its director specified that “it is a disturbing, intelligent, current comedy, but above all, very funny. The story pits two men with very well-defined conflicts, one who desperately needs a financial loan and the other who needs to save his marriage. Both end up united to try to solve each one of their problems.
Likewise, he explained about the cast: “Mijail Mulkay and Roberto San Martín, both face this staging from their inexhaustible capacity to make people laugh, but always from the interpretative truth. The cast is completed by two much-loved and valued actresses from the patio theater scene, Rachel Cruz and Alina Robert, who provide a touch of humor and feminine sensibility. Working with all of them is an act of constant search, a game that has resulted in very moving and hilarious scenes”.
