King Felipe of Spain tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday after showing mild symptoms overnight and will remain in isolation for seven days, the Royal Palace said in a statement.
“The general state of health of His Majesty the King is good, and he will maintain his institutional activity from his residence,” the statement said, adding that “both Her Majesty the Queen and Her Royal Highness the Infanta Sofía do not present symptoms and may continue with its planned activities normally, according to the established rules”.
