MADRID, Spain.- The lawsuit of the Cuban doctor Lucio Enríquez Nodarse against the Spanish journalist Ana Hurtadoa staunch defender of the regime in Cuba, was approved in the Courts of Albacete, Spain.
“I am very happy because justice in Spain prospers, it is slow but I still trust it. Today I have received the Decree, where the civil lawsuit is officially admitted in the Courts of Albacete, against Ana Hurtado Martínez; for CRIMES AGAINST HONOR towards me,” Nodarse wrote this Tuesday in Twitter, where he also shared an image of the approval document.
The doctor specified that Ana Hurtado has 20 business days from her notification to answer through a solicitor or lawyer.
“If it cannot be notified (as we already know she is in Cuba) we will proceed to notify her through EDICTS, publicly in the Spanish Official Gazettes (BOE). If we continue without an answer, then we will carry out the trial in his absence (it is declared in PROCEDURAL REBELID), which will undoubtedly lead to a conviction and finally to a VICTORY for all of us against this person who has done so much damage to Cubans that we dream of a Cuba free of dictatorship”, explained the doctor.

Lucio Enríquez Nodarse recalled that in addition to this civil lawsuit, he had filed a criminal one that is being carried out in the Barcelona Courts.
Last January, Lucio Enríquez Nodarse explained in Interview with CubaNet the reasons that led him to file this civil lawsuit against Ana Hurtado.
Enríquez Nodarse assured that between the months of July and August 2022 Ana Hurtado began to attack him on social networks, mainly on Facebook, from where she has launched insults through videos and publications that violate his moral integrity, for which he decided to denounce her. for “insults and slander”.
On that occasion, he denounced to this outlet that the regime’s spokesperson attacked him “with insults such as ‘little doctor, criminal, terrorist.’
“For this reason,” he stated, “we have decided, with my lawyer, to file a lawsuit, a civil complaint and later we will also file a criminal complaint.”
The doctor has stood out for his constant denunciations on social networks against the Cuban regime and for his fight for respect for human rights on the island, which has led to the attacks by Ana Hurtado.
