José Gil: Bolivarian Revolution is committed to the conquests of the working class

This Tuesday he was a special guest on the program “In the air”, the general secretary of the Alcasa Workers Union and National Coordinator of the Basic Companies of Guayana for the Socialist Central, José Gil, who affirmed that “yesterday’s day mobilized many workers from all over the country who understand that the Bolivarian Revolution it does not dismantle and rather is committed to the achievements of the Venezuelan working class”.

Gil commented that the worker is considering understanding all the efforts made by the head of state to be able to maintain economic stability that seeks to undermine the blockade and the unilateral sanctions of imperialism against Venezuelan workers.

“While in other countries all their budgets are earmarked for war, here in our homeland, the Government is concerned with maintaining and guaranteeing the necessary economic and social conditions to guarantee the Good Living of the people,” said the trade unionist.

Understanding the international context in relation to the economic situation is fundamental to understanding what is happening in Venezuela.

Gil also added in his considerations that “the workers will never stop fighting for our demands. This unequal battle that we are waging against imperialism, with our peace policy, strengthens our awareness of the commitment that we have to continue carrying out with our homeland”.

Finally, the trade unionist explained that “the Venezuelan working class is aware of what imperialism does to us, it knows that international capital and banks conspire against the Bolivarian Revolution. President Maduro presented his proposals for the working class, and left open the continuation of the negotiations to create a system, as soon as possible, that resolves the problem of wages.”
