Jaén: “Security Minister should have been fired or resigned”

The lawyer Neftalí Jaén indicated that the Minister of Public Security, Juan Pino, cannot issue statements in favor or against, for which reason he should have been dismissed or resigned after his pronouncement after the National Assembly did not approve the bill Domain Forfeiture Law.

«The first one who has to drill the conscience is the minister Juan Manuel Pino himself to review what is established in article 12 of law 15 that creates the Ministry of Security, so that he can advise what was incurred in compliance with the article 311 of the Political Constitution, this article prohibits members of the police as he is, Minister of Security, this does not deal with whether the asset forfeiture law is good or bad, it is to have incurred in the violation of the article 311,” Jaen said.
