The Electoral Tribunal (TE), agreed to the request of the National Elections Commission of the Panameñista Party to extend the pending electoral calendar of the group.
Through the Resolution published in the Informative Bulletin, the TE confirmed in all its parts Resolution No. 23-DNOE of January 31, 2022, through which Resolutions No. 137/DNOE of December 10, 2021 are revoked , which regulates the opening, calling and organization of the internal elections of the Panameñista Party, to be held on January 23, 2022.
In addition to Resolution No. 10/DNOE of January 14, 2022, by which the request of the National Elections Commission of the Panameñista Party to extend the pending electoral calendar, issued by the National Directorate of Organization Electoral”.
José Isabel Blandón, president of the Panameñista Party, notified that in this way the internal elections of the party will take place on Sunday, March 6, 2022.
“The TE has issued a final ruling. With this, all challenges and appeals filed are archived, ”he wrote on his Twitter account.
The candidates for the presidency of the party are Blandón and Katleen Levy.
