The event began after 10:30 a.m. with a performance by the Association of Civil Servants of Adaggio in my Country by Alfredo Zitarrosa, followed by the national anthem. While the anthem was playing, workers toured the square carrying photos of the disappeared in the military dictatorship. Then Afusodre intoned The Internationale.
